Your chat just became a game
Your chat becomes a cast of 54 characters, viewers earn points and catch them all — and then the whole crowd fights off a zombie siege, live on your overlay.
This is the biggest update we've ever shipped. Your chat becomes a cast of characters, your viewers start earning points the moment they say hello — and when you're ready, the whole crowd turns around and fights off a zombie siege together, live on your overlay. Here's everything that's new.
Every chatter becomes a character
Heckle Mode traded avatars for an original cast — 54 characters, and your chat wears them.
The first time someone chats, Shoosh deals them a character that's theirs — the same face every stream, their username riding at the bottom of the character. The crowd packs in along the bottom of your overlay, speech bubbles pop as people talk, and whoever's message is being read aloud steps into the spotlight while the rest heckle from the cheap seats. Big moments — raids, donations — still walk center stage.
Say hello, start earning
Shoosh Points are here — viewers earn them automatically, just by being there.
Watching earns points. Chatting earns more. Streaks, subs, bits, raids, and donations all pay out too, on every platform you stream. Twitch streamers can go further: reconnect Twitch and your viewers can convert their channel points into Shoosh Points, one to one. Nobody signs up for anything — if they've ever said a word in your chat, they're already earning.
Catch the cast
Points have somewhere to go: viewers spend them to catch characters — and every catch is one they don't have yet.
There are no duplicates, ever. Each catch draws only from the characters a viewer hasn't caught, so the collection always moves forward. Catch one while the stream is live and it's announced in style — the character walks center stage with the catcher's name in lights. And the collection isn't just for show: viewers can pick any character they've caught to be the one they appear as, in every Shoosh chat they visit.
A home page for your viewers
Your viewers get their own page — balances, collection, and catches, all in one place.
Viewers sign in at shooshlive.com/viewer with Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok — no new account, no password; TikTok viewers link up by simply saying anything in chat. They'll find their points on every channel they watch, the full 54-character grid with silhouettes still waiting to be caught, their pick of who to appear as, and a running record of their wins.
Let chat put its points where its mouth is
Polls and Gambas — run live votes and predictions from your dashboard, free to vote, points to bet.
Polls are quick: !vote 1 in chat, majority wins, and viewers can spend points to boost the side they believe in. Gambas are predictions: you open the question, chat bets points on an outcome with !bet, you pick the winner, and the pot splits among the believers. When it resolves, everyone who called it right rises up on the overlay to celebrate — the winners literally take the stage.
And then the zombies come
The Zombie Siege is a co-op horde game your whole chat plays together — live on your overlay, zero setup.
Start a siege from the new Chat Games panel and the scene transforms: fog rolls in, a barricade goes up at the bottom of the screen, and a claymation horde walks out of the horizon — straight at your chat's crowd. Your viewers' own characters man the wall. And every zombie that falls, falls for real: dropped at range, shot off the barricade mid-climb, toppling where it stood.
Playing is typing. Every zombie wears a #tag — put it anywhere in a message and that's an aimed shot. #play takes you to the wall while the rest of chat pours in chip damage with #fire; pick your gun — #sniper owns the far field, #rifle the middle, #shotgun the front line — and spend points on ults like #nade when the horde gets thick. Get bitten and you don't just lose your spot: your character turns, and shambles toward the camera wearing your name until your teammates put you down. It's a team game to the bone — fun with three players or three hundred.
That's the update. Deal your chat in — the horde is already walking.
